About the area
Quite simply a 5 min. car ride or a 10 min. walk will bring you to Cabopino Marina, with Cabopino beach just a stones throw away from there. The Marina offers much by way of dining and sightseeing. You can spend a pleasant evening dining out in one of the many and varied restaurants or just sit around watching the world go by. There is a fine, sandy beach (the well loved Andy's beach) just beside the Marina and it has many facilities such as good food, great music, safe bathing, water skiing, pedal boats, paragliding, jet skiing, scuba diving etc.
Cabopino's golf course is just across the road from the apartment and is visible from the kitchen window. If you wish to play just contact the office and make your arrangements on a ‘pay & play' basis, it couldn't be more simple. A driving range and practice green are within 2 minutes walk from the apartment. There are numerous other golf courses nearby.
The ski slopes of Sierra Nevada are approximately a two hour drive away. This modern resort has excellent lift systems including two gondolas, many snow canons and numerous runs suitable for both beginner and experienced skier and snowboarders. You will also find many excellent restaurants. A visit here is a must.
The Las Mimosas Complex of prestigious low-rise apartments is just 25 min. from the Airport and 20 min. drive from the centre of Marbella. It is situated next to Calahonda, which has Supersol and Lidl supermarkets to provide you with your daily requirements. 15 min. in the car will bring you to La Canada Shopping Complex, which provides the modern shopper with everything he/she could wish for. This location can be used to tour this area of Spain with Mijas, Gibraltar, Ronda close by and Seville, historic Cordoba and Granada a little further away. Car recommended (there can be a delay in collection of hire car at Malaga Airport) – Remote controlled access to underground car park.

Exit Malaga Airport towards Algeciras/Torremolinos for Marbella.
Keep in the right hand lane and vere off right straight after the San Miguel beer factory. After a mile approximately you pass a group of garages marked Carranza and BMW. Take the right hand slip road which brings you out onto the N340. Follow the signpost for Algeciras/Cadiz.
Stay on this road in the right-hand lane, after 5 miles approx. the road splits as you go downhill stay in the right-hand lane and follows the “Costa” signposts (avoid the toll road Which is to the left). Keep on this dual carriageway for about 10 miles or so in the direction of Fuengirola.
Your next point of reference will be Calahonda.
Pass Calahonda completely and prepare to slow down, look for a sign for Marbella. This sign is on the right-hand side on the grass verge. You can't miss it. Just up ahead you will notice an overhead pedestrian bridge and before this on the right you will see a disused hotel, turn right off the road exactly at this point.
Proceed up this road and the apartments come into view, keep going until the end of the apartment blocks (The golf course is visible at this stage) take a left turn and stop at green gate, you have ARRIVED!
